Job Description:

Work as a cafe and pastry shop staff member at a well-known Japanese and Western confectionery brand in Kamakura City, Kanagawa, 7 minutes walk from Kamakura Station East Exit. The brand's signature product is a luxurious baked confection of house-made caramel, walnuts, and crispy pastry - popular on social media for its charming retro squirrel packaging. Duties include welcoming customers, providing table and counter service, operating the register, and other general cafe floor tasks in a refined, stylish environment. No prior cafe experience is needed to start at the full 1,600 yen rate; those with cafe experience are welcome as immediately productive members of the team. Hours are fixed at 08:45 to 17:45 (8 hours actual work, 1-hour break); shifts include Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays on a rotation, with a minimum of 3 days per week (full-time also welcome). Full transportation allowance is paid (交通費全額支給 koutsuuhi zengaku shikyuu). A Daimaru Matsuzakaya department store shopping discount (10% off) is provided as an employee benefit. High school graduate or above required. This is a long-term dispatch (派遣 haken) position with a minimum commitment of 2 months.
