Job Description:
Work as a convenience store staff member at a Lawson (ローソン) branch directly at Kawagoe Station West Rotary in Kawagoe City, Saitama. Duties cover all standard convenience store tasks: cashier work (レジ reji), customer service, product restocking and shelf arrangement, light food preparation, and store cleaning. Four shift slots cover almost the full 24-hour day: early morning (06:30-09:00), midday (12:00-17:00), evening (17:00-21:30), and overnight (22:00-06:30). The overnight slot attracts a legally mandated 25% late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) bringing the effective rate to 1,426 yen per hour for the 22:00-05:00 portion. A minimum of 2 days per week; weekday-only or weekend-only schedules are both accepted. Training (研修 kenshuu) and support from senior staff are provided, so complete beginners are welcome. Bicycle and motorbike commuting are both permitted, and the store is conveniently located at the station rotary with a nearby bus stop as well.
