Job Description:

Work as kitchen staff at Osaji (お匙), a concept cafe attached to OSAJI, a Made-in-Japan sensitive-skin skincare brand, in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, 6-7 minutes walk from Marutamachi Station Exit 7. The cafe features a distinctive menu rooted in Japanese fermentation culture: Kyoto-grown rice and koji amazake, seasonal rice-flour muffins and cakes, and other health-conscious contemporary dishes. Duties include making drinks, simple food preparation, store cleaning, creating display arrangements, opening preparation, and managing supplies. Cafe experience is advantageous but not required; those who enjoy baking or are fans of the OSAJI brand are especially welcome. Shifts run on a rotation between 09:30 and 19:30 (7.5 hours actual work, 1.5-hour break), with 3 or more days per week; Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday availability is expected as a basic requirement, though holiday requests can be submitted. Full transportation allowance is paid (交通費全額支給 koutsuuhi zengaku shikyuu). Hair colour and style are free at this workplace. A pathway to direct full-time employment with the brand exists for those aiming for a longer-term career. High school graduate or above required. This is a long-term dispatch (派遣 haken) position with a minimum commitment of 2 months.
