Job Description:

Work as counter support staff at Suntory Old Bar Yotsubashi, a long-established Suntory-brand cocktail bar (nearly 30 years in business) in Nishi Ward, Osaka, directly connected to Yotsubashi Station Exit 4 and accessible via underground walkway from Shinsaibashi Station. The bar has a stylish red-accented interior and draws 90% repeat business from local businesspeople, creating a calm, friendly atmosphere quite different from a typical busy nightlife bar. Counter duties include washing glasses and dishes (dishwasher available), splitting ice, making drinks, and serving from the counter - a practical bar skill set taught from scratch through hands-on practice with the hiring manager. No opening or closing duties are required; shifts start after the bar opens, so you arrive when the atmosphere is already up and running. Two fixed 4-hour evening shifts are available: 18:00-22:00 or 18:30-22:30 (no break, no overtime) - both end before the last train. Weekdays only (Monday-Friday); Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, Golden Week, Obon, and year-end/New Year are all days off. Cash-in-hand (手渡し tewatashi) payment is available monthly. A training rate of 1,200 yen applies for approximately the first month. Must be aged 20 or over (bar is a non-smoking venue by law); high school students cannot apply.

Wage:
