Job Description:
Work as hall service staff at a sushi restaurant inside Daimaru Shinsaibashi department store in Chuo Ward, Osaka City, directly accessible from Shinsaibashi Station. The restaurant has around 50 seats in a calm, relaxed atmosphere - quite different from a busy chain conveyor-belt sushi setting. Duties include welcoming guests, guiding them to seats, taking orders by hand-written slip (no complex terminal), serving food and drinks, clearing tables, and cashier duties; there is no cooking involved, and closing-time back-of-house tasks such as register closing and dishwashing are minimal, allowing you to focus on floor service throughout your shift. Prior hall experience from any food service setting is required - a family restaurant, cafe, or Western restaurant background is fully accepted; sushi or Japanese cuisine experience is not needed. Three shift options are available: a full day (11:00-21:00, 8 hours actual work with a 2-hour break), a lunch-only slot (11:00-15:00, 4 hours), or a dinner-only slot (17:00-21:00, 4 hours) - making the role very flexible for those fitting work around family or another job. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are both available. Light nail colour (transparent or single pale tone) and non-extreme hair colour are permitted. This is a long-term dispatch (派遣 haken) position.
