Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen role at Hidakaya Bar Oyama, a popular Chinese ramen restaurant (中華料理 chuuka-ryouri) chain known for ramen, gyoza, and fried rice. Hall staff handle food and drink service and cashier (レジ reji) duties — orders are placed by customers on tabletop tablets, so you rarely have to take verbal orders, making it comfortable for beginners. Kitchen staff prepare ramen, gyoza, and fried rice; wok training (中華鍋研修 chuukanabe-kenshuu) is provided so you can build real cooking skills on the job. No experience is needed — training (研修 kenshuu) is provided from day one, and the store manager and senior staff check in regularly to support new starters. Shifts are flexible (シフト制 shifuto-sei): you can work from just 1 day a week and 3 hours a day, which suits students, homemakers, and second-job workers. The late shift runs until 01:00 and qualifies for a late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate); late-night work is open to applicants aged 18 and over only, as required by Japanese labour law. Weekend and public holiday shifts earn an extra 50 yen per hour on top of base pay. Staff meals (まかない makanai) of Chinese food are provided, and wages are reviewed four times a year with a bonus paid twice a year.

Wage:

1,150円～ (per hour) Late-night (deep night) shift rate: 1,438円～ (深夜手当 shinya-teate applies). Weekend and public holiday premium: +50 yen per hour on Saturdays (08:00-24:00) and Sundays/holidays (10:00-22:00). Salary increase 4 times per year. Bonus paid twice a year (January and July) based on hours worked.
