Job Description:

This is a hall staff position at a Japanese izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) chain in central Sapporo, handling customer service, order-taking, food and drink delivery, table clearing, and cashier duties. The restaurant caters to banquet-style group dining and is part of a large chain with a structured training (研修 kenshuu) program, so no prior experience is needed to get started. Shifts run from morning through midnight under a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei), with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and just 1 day a week required. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided at 200 yen per meal, and a 10% dining discount applies at all directly operated locations. Salary increases (昇給 shounkyuu) are available monthly based on a 5-level skill assessment system. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over under Japanese labour law. A daily payment (日払い hibarai) option and advance payment (前払い maebarai) system are both available under company rules.

Wage:

1,100円 (per hour) High school student rate: 1,075 yen/hour. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward may carry a night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) per Japanese labour law. Monthly salary increases of 10-30 yen based on skill evaluation. Training period rate applies for first 40 hours.
