Job Description:

This is a kitchen staff position at Isomaru Suisan, a lively seafood izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) in Sendai's Ichibancho district, handling food preparation, cooking assistance, plating, and general kitchen duties. The restaurant has a festive, market-stall atmosphere with live shellfish tanks and fresh seafood, and senior staff provide full training (研修 kenshuu) from scratch — no cooking or restaurant experience is needed. Shifts run 24 hours across all time slots from early morning through deep night, with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and just 1 day a week required. A late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 1,375 yen per hour applies from 22:00 onward. A daily advance payment (前払い maebarai) option is available for those with 1 month or more of continuous service. Minimum contract period of 3 months required. Japanese language ability sufficient for kitchen work is required. Hair colour is free within cleanliness guidelines.

Wage:

1,100円 (per hour) Late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 1,375 yen/hour from 22:00 onward. Monthly salary increases available. Advance daily payment available after 1 month of continuous service.
