Job Description:
This is a cooking assistance position at a popular Japanese home-style deli (和そうざい waso-zai) counter inside a department store in central Shizuoka, preparing simmered dishes, fried foods, vegetable cuts, and bento-box assembly. The concept is everyday home cooking — think hijiki nimono, spicy konnyaku, and teriyaki fish — with set recipes to follow, so anyone who cooks at home regularly will feel comfortable from day one. Shifts run 07:00 to 16:00 fixed, making this a good fit for early risers who prefer to finish work in the afternoon. A minimum of 3 days per week is required including weekends and public holidays, under a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei). Homemakers and those returning after a career gap are actively welcomed, and many current staff are in the same situation. High school graduate or above is required.
Wage:
1,450円 (per hour)
Monthly income example: 1,450 yen x 8 hours x 21 days = approx. 243,600 yen (5 days/week). Long-term stable work available.
