Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Aji no Mingei, a Japanese family restaurant specialising in hand-stretched udon and traditional washoku dishes, in Okayama City's Hokancho district. The restaurant uses a customer-operated touchscreen ordering system, so there is no risk of order mistakes and hall staff can focus on seating, serving, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for the main clientele of families and elderly guests. Shifts run between 11:00 and 22:00 under a monthly preference-based shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei), with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and 2 days a week, and both lunchtime-only and after-school evening shifts are accommodated. Sunday and public holiday shifts earn an extra 50 yen per hour (日祝手当 nichisuku-teate). Staff meals are available at 60% off the menu price, and a 30-hour in-store training (研修 kenshuu) period is provided with the same hourly rate throughout. Car and motorcycle commuting are permitted.

Wage:

1,120円 (per hour) Sunday and public holiday premium (日祝手当 nichisuku-teate): +50 yen/hour. Training period rate: same as base (1,120 yen/hour).
