Job Description:

Work as a food preparation staff member at a curry bread and doughnut specialist shop inside the basement food hall of Matsuzakaya department store in central Shizuoka, which opened in 2026. Duties include shaping curry bread and doughnuts, coating them in breadcrumbs, deep-frying in a fryer to a golden finish, restocking the display, and cleaning cooking equipment and the workspace. The shop sells 800 to 1,000 items per day — the pace is fast and satisfying. This suits someone who enjoys staying busy and seeing results quickly. The standard shift runs 08:00-17:00 (8 hours actual work, 60 min break), with shorter options finishing at 13:00, 14:00, or 15:00 also available. Shifts run 3 to 5 days per week under a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei). Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is fully covered. A staff locker room and employee canteen are on site.
