Job Description:
Work as a linen stripping (めくり mekuri) staff member at Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi, just 2 minutes walk from Kyoto Station. The role involves entering hotel guest rooms ahead of the bed making team, removing pillowcases, duvet covers, and sheets, collecting all linen into the corridor, and restocking fresh linen so the next staff member can begin making the bed immediately. It is a self-directed, fast-paced role where you plan your own room order across each floor. No experience is needed — the tasks are simple and most people feel comfortable within a single shift. Some physical stamina is required as the work keeps you moving throughout the morning. The standard shift is 09:00-13:00 with some flexibility on start and finish times by arrangement. Shifts run 1-6 days per week under a self-reported shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei). A 3-day trial period is available before committing to a longer arrangement. Weekend-only shifts are also welcome. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is covered up to 1,000 yen per day. Nails, piercings, and any hair colour and style are OK. Trial period of 3 months applies at the same rate.
