Job Description:

Work as kitchen or hall staff at Narasaka, a popular local seafood and tempura izakaya (居酒屋) in Asakusa, Taito ward, beloved by neighbourhood regulars for over a decade. Kitchen staff handle cooking assistance, washing up, food prep and breakdown, inventory checks, and kitchen cleaning alongside the owner-chef — ideal for those who want to learn proper Japanese seafood and tempura cooking techniques from a professional. Hall staff handle customer seating, order-taking, drink preparation, table service, and payment. The store is small (5 counter seats, 4 table seats, 2 tatami rooms) so the pace is steady and personal — customers and staff are on first-name terms. Foreigners and international students are actively welcomed. Shifts run 18:00-00:00 with a minimum of 4 hours from 1 day per week. A research period of approximately 1 month at 1,300 yen applies. Pay can be received by hand cash (手渡し tewatashi). Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is fully covered.
