Job Description:
This is an early morning cleaning (清掃 seisou) staff role at a hot spring bathing facility (温泉施設 onsen-shisetsu) in the Kaihatsu area of Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture. The work involves cleaning the bathing areas (浴場 yokujou) and changing rooms (脱衣所 datsuijyo) each morning before the facility opens — a straightforward routine of about 2.5 hours that requires no prior cleaning experience. The workplace is warm and humid year round thanks to the hot spring environment, which many staff say helps keep them feeling energetic and healthy while working. Two shift patterns are available: a weekday early morning slot from 05:00 to 07:30, and a weekend and holiday slot from 04:00 to 06:30; both shifts are 2.5 hours with no overtime. The first hour of the 04:00-05:00 window on weekends and holidays attracts a 25% wage premium, bringing the rate to 1,500 yen for that hour. The short shift makes the role well-suited to Wワーク (second job), post-retirement work, or anyone wanting a brief but regular income before the rest of the day begins.
