Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Gokoku Kofu Showa (五穀甲府昭和店), a Japanese, Western, and Chinese family restaurant located on the first floor of Aeon Mall Kofu Showa in Showa-cho, Nakakoma-gun, Yamanashi. Hall staff welcome and seat guests, deliver food and drinks, process checkout, and handle table resets; kitchen staff assist with straightforward cooking, plating, and dishwashing alongside the hall team. Training (研修 kenshuu) is provided from day one with a senior staff member alongside you until you feel confident — those who find serving daunting at first can start in the kitchen instead. Shifts run from as little as 3 hours and from 2 days a week, making it easy to fit around school, childcare, or a second job; the schedule is self-declared each 1 to 2 weeks. A Sunday and public holiday bonus (日祝手当 nichishuku-teate) of +50 yen per hour applies, and any hours worked after 22:00 attract a 25% late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate), bringing the rate to 1,375 yen. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at a flat 340 yen per meal, and daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available within regulations.
