Job Description:
This is a seasonal osechi (おせち) plating and packing role at Kaiseki Toku (懐石料理 徳) in Higashikagaya, Suminoe-ku, Osaka — a short-term position running from October through to December 31, 2026. The work involves arranging osechi New Year's food ingredients into lacquered boxes (お重 ojuu) following a provided sample arrangement — no cooking skills required, just the ability to follow a visual guide carefully and keep a steady pace. Two shift patterns are available: a daytime slot (12:00-17:00, available from October) and a short evening slot (17:00-20:00, available from November), and you can combine them for a longer day on busier weeks. Cash-in-hand payment (手渡し tewatashi) is available on request, making this convenient for those who prefer not to wait for bank transfer. The role is well suited to homemakers with cooking experience, students fitting it around classes, or second-job workers looking for a seasonal income boost before year-end. Bicycle and motorbike commuting are welcome, and the workplace is a 1-minute walk from the Himematsubashi bus stop.
