Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Fugu to Kani no Mise Shinsaibashi Fuguchin (ふぐとかにの店 心斎橋 ふぐちん), a speciality fugu (ふぐ pufferfish) and crab restaurant on the 2nd floor of Toda Building, Shinsaibashi-suji, Chuo-ku, Osaka — 1 to 2 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi Station. Hall duties include taking orders, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables; kitchen duties cover simple cooking assistance and dishwashing, with the option for keen staff to learn proper fish-breaking technique from the chef. Shifts run 16:00 to 01:00 (overnight) and you choose a minimum of 3 hours within that window; the schedule is submitted every 2 weeks and can be freely arranged around classes, a second job, or personal plans — weekday-only and weekend-only options are both welcome. Daily payment (日払い hibarai), weekly payment (週払い shuubarai), and cash-in-hand (手渡し tewatashi) are all available, making it easy to access earned wages quickly. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided on every working day, and a monthly all-you-can-eat fugu and crab dinner party is held for all staff — an unusually generous benefit for a part-time role. Hair colour, nails, piercings, and beards are all unrestricted, and no resume is required to apply. Foreign applicants must hold JLPT N1 due to the high-end hospitality nature of the role.
