Job Description:
This is a kitchen support role at Kurashiki Heisei Hospital, assisting with meal preparation for patients. Tasks include cutting vegetables, portioning rice, plating meals, washing dishes, and serving food trays — all straightforward work similar to everyday home cooking. Heavy items such as pots and cauldrons are moved by trolley, so physical strain is minimal. A staff member will work alongside you until you are comfortable, making this ideal even for those with no prior kitchen experience. The workplace is diverse — about 1 in 10 staff members is a foreign national — and welcomes applicants of all ages from their 10s to 70s. A shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) is used with monthly schedule submission, and long-term employment is preferred. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full up to 30,000 yen per month, including petrol costs. A meal subsidy of up to 140 yen per day is also available.
Wage:
1,050円~1,150円 (per hour) Salary increase (昇給 shoukyuu) available. Annual bonus up to 140,000 yen. Overtime allowance paid separately. Training period wage: 1,050 yen (details on enquiry).
