Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen support role at Sumibisakaba Minoridou, a charcoal-grilled yakitori izakaya in central Gifu City, just a 1-minute walk from Meitetsu Gifu Station. The restaurant uses locally sourced Gifu ingredients and craft sake in a Japanese-modern setting — a unique concept operated by AP Holdings, the company behind the Tsukada Nojo brand. Kitchen tasks include vegetable cutting and plating; hall tasks include serving food and looking after guests. Training (研修 kenshuu) covers knife skills and menu knowledge over up to 3 months, so complete beginners are welcome. A salary advance system lets you access up to 50% of earned wages before payday (前払い maewatashi; partial digital money also accepted). Shifts run from 16:00, with Friday and Saturday closing at midnight — late-night shifts from 22:00 are open to applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, and hair colour, nails (within guidelines), piercings, and beards are all permitted. Foreign nationals are welcome if they hold Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 3 or above and are not engaged in another job.

Wage:
