Job Description:

This is a kitchen and hall role at Marugame Seimen, a popular udon and tempura chain, at the Shizuoka Ikeda store along Route 407. Tasks are divided into clear, manageable segments — udon and tempura preparation, cooking rice dishes, operating the register, clearing tables, and dishwashing — so you can focus on one thing at a time. A thorough recipe-based training system (研修 kenshuu) means no experience is needed, and the job is suitable for a first-time part-timer. Shifts are flexible from as little as 3 hours a day and 1 day a week, with weekdays-only, weekends-only, or mixed schedules all possible — input via a weekly self-submit system. Late-night shifts from 22:00 attract a deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% on top of the base rate. A subsidised staff meal (まかない makanai) is available: 800 yen worth of food for just 120 yen per meal. Staff with children aged 15 or under benefit from the Family Shokudo scheme, which loads up to 10,000 yen per child per month onto a dedicated card for meals at work. Hair colour and style are free within guidelines (confirm at interview).
