Job Description:
This is a hall service role at a high-end Japanese restaurant directly connected to Nagoya Station, welcoming guests for milestone occasions such as wedding meetings, business entertainment, and special private dining. The atmosphere is calm and refined — very different from a busy izakaya — allowing attentive, one-to-one hospitality for each guest at a measured pace. Training (研修 kenshuu) begins with an orientation on service etiquette and menu knowledge, followed by on-the-job training covering kimono dressing and proper tray handling — all taught from scratch, no prior experience needed. Shifts are available as short as 4 hours (lunch 11:00-15:00 or dinner 17:00-21:00) or as a full through-shift (11:00-21:00 with a 2-hour break), making this compatible with a wide range of schedules. A free staff meal (まかない makanai) from the restaurant's own menu is provided every working day. Foreign nationals are welcome with Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 or above. Maximum contract period is 3 years (renewable subject to conditions).
