Job Description:
This is a customer service and sales role at a Japanese tea specialty store inside Hakata Station, just 3 minutes walk from the main exit. Tasks include welcoming customers, cashier operation, gift wrapping, explaining and recommending teas, restocking shelves, and managing inventory — all in a calm, fragrant shop environment quite different from a busy izakaya or fast food setting. Three shift patterns rotate: early (08:30-16:30), mid (11:00-19:00), and late (13:15-21:15), each 7 hours with a 1-hour break — 4 to 5 days a week including weekends and public holidays, with specific time-slot preferences negotiable. A staff discount on tea products is available, and free car parking is provided for those who drive. Contracts are renewed every 3 months (renewal is the norm). No prior experience is required — full training is provided from the start.
