Job Description:

This is a room checker role at Karakusa Hotel Grande Shin-Osaka Tower, 5 minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station — inspecting cleaned guest rooms for quality, assisting with room cleaning support, and distributing linen carts. Checkers are the quality-control step in hotel housekeeping: after rooms are cleaned, the checker conducts a final inspection (インスペクション insupekushon) to ensure each room meets the hotel's standards before the room is marked available. Prior guest room cleaning experience is required — this role is a step up from cleaning, and those looking to develop their skills further are especially welcome. Shifts are fixed (08:45-16:30 with a 45-minute break) and available 4 to 5 days a week including weekends; at least one of Saturday or Sunday must be worked per week. Transport allowance is paid in full, and a 10,000-yen annual long-service bonus is paid every year of continuous employment. A 3-month training period applies at 1,250 yen per hour, rising to 1,350 yen on completion.
