Job Description:

This is a hall service role at Hakata Motsu-nabe Waraku Nishi-Azabu Store, a specialist Hakata-style motsu-nabe (offal hot pot) restaurant in Nishi-Azabu, between Nogizaka and Roppongi stations in Tokyo. The chef has over 30 years of experience with motsu-nabe, sourcing premium fresh domestic beef offal by air from Hakata daily — staff are expected to explain the quality and flavour of the ingredients to guests in Japanese. Tasks include welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, making drinks, and light dishwashing. Shifts run 18:00-00:00, available from just 4 hours a day and 1 day a week via a fortnightly self-submit schedule — ideal for students finishing class in the evening, or those with a second job during the day. Pay is in cash handed directly to the worker (手渡し tewatashi) and can be received the same day you work. A 5,000-yen Happy Bonus is paid after 3 months of continuous employment. Foreign nationals require JLPT N1-level Japanese or equivalent, and must be able to explain dishes and handle phone calls smoothly in Japanese.

Wage:

1,500円 (per hour) Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 1,875 yen per hour from 22:00 (25% uplift). High school student rate: 1,400 yen. Salary increase of 100 yen or more based on performance. Happy Bonus: 5,000 yen after 3 months continuous employment. Pay in cash same-day (手渡し tewatashi).
