Job Description:

This is an opening-staff recruitment for Marugame Seimen Hitachiomiya, a new udon and tempura restaurant opening in early December in Hitachiomiya City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Everyone starts together from day one, so the team atmosphere is flat and welcoming — training takes place in the store before opening, with no customers present, so you can learn at a relaxed pace. Roles include welcoming customers, cooking udon and tempura, preparing rice dishes and onigiri, cashier work (レジ reji), dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), and keeping the dining area clean. Tasks are divided clearly so each person can focus on one area and build confidence step by step. A late-night wage premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00, and a special opening rate of 1,300 yen applies until 31 January 2027. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for 120 yen per meal up to 800 yen of food. Shifts are set weekly and can be as short as 3 hours or 2 days a week, with weekday-only, weekend-only, or mixed schedules all available. Late-night shifts from 22:00 are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). A minimum contract period of 3 months is required.
