Job Description:

This is a back-of-house kitchen role at Sandaime Amimoto Sakanaya Dojo, an izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) seafood restaurant in Wakabayashi-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. There is no hall or customer-facing work — all duties are in the kitchen, making this a great fit for those who prefer to work behind the scenes. Tasks begin with simple work like plating and dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), then gradually progress to vegetable prep, frying and grilling assistance, and stock management at your own pace. Senior staff provide close support and lecture videos are available for each skill step, so first-time part-timers can build confidence without pressure. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for 200 yen per meal, and a 10% dining discount applies at all directly operated locations for staff and accompanying family or friends. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available weekly on worked hours upon request 3 business days in advance.
