Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Marugame Seimen Chita, a udon and tempura restaurant in Chita City, Aichi Prefecture. Tasks are divided into clear roles — hall cleanup, dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), cashier (レジ reji), and cooking udon, tempura, and rice dishes — so each person can work efficiently from a position that suits them. A thorough training system (研修 kenshuu) and written recipes are in place, making this suitable for first-timers and those returning after a gap. A late-night wage premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00, and weekend shifts open from 08:00 giving the option of longer earning hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for 120 yen per meal up to 800 yen of food. Transportation allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid up to 50,000 yen per month within company rules, and car and motorbike commuting are permitted with petrol costs covered. Japanese language ability of JLPT N2 or equivalent is required for this role as customer-facing Japanese is essential. A minimum contract period of 3 months is required.
