Job Description:

This is a gift sales and wrapping role at a traditional Japanese confectionery shop inside Ginza Mitsukoshi department store in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, selling rice crackers, fruit sweets, and seasonal wagashi. Work involves counter-style customer service, attaching noshi (decorative gift slips), gift wrapping, cashier operations across cash, card, QR, and point payment methods, stock replenishment, product inspection, and inventory counting — early shift staff handle opening preparation and late shift staff handle closing duties. Shifts run 5 days a week with two slot options: early (08:30-18:00) or late (11:00-20:30), each with 1.5 hours of break and 8 hours of actual work. The team is mostly women in their 20s-40s and the atmosphere is friendly — busy periods include year-end, GW, and Obon, when extra staff pitch in together. Hair colour is free within tasteful limits (light brown acceptable). Changing room and lockers provided on site. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are both available. No resume required. This is a long-term dispatch position.
