Job Description:

This is an opening-staff hall role at SAMURAI GROUP Ikebukuro, a private-room izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) opening in November in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo — 3 minutes walk from Ikebukuro Station. Everyone joins at the same time, so the atmosphere is flat and welcoming from day one, with experienced staff from the existing Shinjuku location on hand to help during the opening period. Hall duties include guiding customers, order-taking, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, stocking supplies, cashier operations (レジ reji), and store cleaning — full training is provided, making this suitable for first-time part-timers. Calling in customers from outside the entrance is also occasionally asked during quiet periods, with incentives available for results. Shifts run within 17:00-23:00 on weekdays and 13:00-23:00 on weekends and public holidays, submitted fortnightly — as few as 2 days a week from 6 hours is accepted. Salary is paid cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi). Staff meals (まかない makanai) and a staff discount for dining at group restaurants are included. Hair colour, style, nails, piercings, and beard are all permitted within guidelines. High school students cannot apply.

Wage:

1,300円～1,350円 (per hour) Izakaya-experienced applicants start at 1,300-1,350 yen. Salary increases based on effort and performance. Transportation allowance up to 1,000 yen per day.
