Job Description:

This is a backyard kitchen support role at Sanmarukawa (サンマルカワ), a fresh fish shop inside Mikage Classe shopping centre in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, accessible from both Mikage Station and Sumiyoshi Station. Work involves cutting pre-sliced fish fillets into sashimi and sushi portions using a knife (包丁 houchou), plating and packing into trays, placing toppings onto sushi rice, applying price labels, restocking, and light kitchen cleaning — no customer service or cashier work of any kind. Fish butchery (fish breaking down from whole) is not required — only cutting pre-prepared fillets, so this is manageable for those without a professional fish background. Full guidance is provided by in-store staff, making this suitable for those with no prior food preparation experience. Hours are fixed at 08:00-17:00 (8 hours actual work, 60 minutes break) with almost no overtime. The schedule rotates across all days of the week with a minimum of 4 days per week; applicants must be available to work at least one day of the weekend (Saturday or Sunday). Wage:
