Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Shibuya Masudatei, a monjayaki and okonomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake) restaurant 1 minute walk from Shibuya Station in Udagawacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Hall duties include seating guests, serving food and drinks using a mobile order system (so no complicated handwritten orders), and clearing tables; kitchen duties include dishwashing and kitchen support. Weekday rate is 1,500 yen per hour; weekends and public holidays receive a 50 yen per hour bump to 1,550 yen. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and cash-in-hand payment (手渡し tewatashi) are available on request — normally monthly but flexible with discussion. Shifts span 12:00-22:30 and can be split into lunch (12:00-16:30) or dinner (18:00-22:30) only; a minimum of 4.5 hours per day and 2 days per week is accepted, making this easy to fit around university schedules. Staff who are promoted can receive an annual performance bonus of 300,000-500,000 yen on top of their hourly wage. Free staff meals are provided, plus a 30% dining discount for those working 2 days or more per week. Hair colour, nails, piercings, and beard are all permitted. No resume required.

Wage:
