Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Marugame Seimen Chitose, a popular udon and tempura chain restaurant in Chitose City, Hokkaido. Duties are divided into clear sections — greeting customers, udon cooking assistance, tempura preparation, cashier work, dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), and floor cleaning — so you can start from the area that suits your strengths. A weekly shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) lets you choose your hours around school, family, or a second job, with shifts from as little as 2 hours a day and weekend-only arrangements available. A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available for just 120円 per meal up to 800円 worth of food, and a family dining card is provided to employees with children aged 15 or under, covering up to 10,000円 per child per month. Transport allowance is paid up to 50,000円 per month, and car and motorbike commuting are permitted with fuel costs covered under regulations. No experience is required — step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a clear manual are provided. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies. Late-night shifts after 22:00 attract a deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25%, and are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law).
