Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Marugame Seimen Aeon Mall Ishinomaki, a udon and tempura chain restaurant on the second floor of Aeon Mall Ishinomaki in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi. Duties cover udon cooking assistance (boiling and plating to order), tempura and onigiri preparation, counter service, dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), table clearing, cashier work, and kitchen cleaning. Tasks are divided into clear sections so you can start from the role that fits your strengths — cooking, serving, or cleaning. A weekly shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) is in place, with shifts from as little as 3 hours a day and 2 days a week; weekend-only arrangements are also available. A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available for just 120円 per meal up to 800円 worth of food, and a family dining card is provided to employees with children aged 15 or under, covering up to 10,000円 per child per month. Transport allowance is paid up to 50,000円 per month; motorbike commuting is permitted with fuel costs covered under regulations, and car commuting is negotiable. No prior experience is required — step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a complete recipe manual are provided. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies.
