Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Marugame Seimen Lara Garden Nagamachi, a udon and tempura chain restaurant on the third floor of Lara Garden Nagamachi in Sendai's Taihaku Ward, directly connected to Nagamachi-Minami Station's West Exit 3. Duties are divided into clear sections — udon cooking assistance, tempura frying, onigiri and inari preparation, cashier work, dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), and floor cleaning — so you can start from the role that suits you best. A weekly shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) is in place with shifts from as little as 2 hours a day and 2 days a week; weekend-only arrangements are also available. Late-night shifts after 22:00 attract a deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25%, and are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available for just 120円 per meal up to 800円 worth of food, and a family dining card is provided to employees with children aged 15 or under, covering up to 10,000円 per child per month. The store is directly connected to the station exit, making it one of the most conveniently located positions in the area. No prior experience is required — step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a complete recipe manual are provided. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies.
