Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Taishu Sakaba Gonogo Numazu Minamiguchi, a popular casual izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) located 3 minutes walk from Numazu Station in Shizuoka. Hall duties use a mobile order system so order mistakes are rare — responsibilities cover seating guests, serving food and drinks, table clearing, and cashier work. Kitchen duties include preparation, simple cooking, plating, and dishwashing — knife skills are taught from scratch so no prior kitchen experience is needed. A flexible monthly self-declaration shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) lets you submit your availability once a month, with shifts from as little as 3 hours a day and 1 day a week. An advance payment option is available for employees who have worked at least 1 month — note this is not available to high school students. Staff meals (食事補助 shokuji-hosho) and an employee discount programme (SFP Premium Club) covering cinema, karaoke, and rental cars are included. Late-night shifts starting at 22:00 attract a deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) and are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law).

Wage:

1,250円 (per hour) Late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): rate rises to 1,563円 from 22:00. Salary increases (昇給 shoukyuu) three times per year. Advance payment option available for staff with 1 month or more of service (not available to high school students).
