Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Marugame Seimen Hiroshima Shintenchi, a udon and tempura chain restaurant in Naka-ku, Hiroshima City, 5 minutes walk from Hatchobori tram stop. Duties cover table clearing, dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), cashier work, and cooking udon, tempura, and rice dishes — tasks are divided so you can start from the area that fits your strengths. A weekly shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) is in place with shifts from as little as 3 hours a day and 2 days a week; weekday-only and weekend-only arrangements are both available. Late-night shifts after 22:00 attract a deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25%, and are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). On Fridays and Saturdays the store closes at 24:00, so evening shifts run slightly later than other days. A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available for just 120円 per meal up to 800円 worth of food, and a family dining card covers up to 10,000円 per month per child for employees with children aged 15 or under. No prior experience is required — step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a complete recipe manual are provided. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies.

Wage:

1,150円 (per hour) Late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase after 22:00. Salary increases based on performance with a clear progression system. Bonus system available.
