Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Marugame Seimen Musashi-Kosugi, a udon and tempura chain restaurant 2 minutes walk from Musashi-Kosugi Station in Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki. Weekday shifts run from 18:00 to 24:00, while Saturday and Sunday shifts cover the full day from 08:30 to 24:00 — the store is actively looking for people who can work weekends. Duties cover customer greeting, udon cooking assistance, tempura and onigiri preparation, cashier work, dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), and store cleaning — tasks are divided so you can start from the area that suits you best. A weekly shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) is in place with shifts from as little as 3 hours a day and 2 days a week; weekday-only and weekend-only arrangements are both available, and weekends off is also an option. Shifts after 22:00 attract a deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% — for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available for just 120円 per meal up to 800円 worth of food, and a family dining card covers up to 10,000円 per month per child for employees with children aged 15 or under. No prior experience is required — step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a complete recipe manual are provided. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies.

Wage:

1,300円 (per hour) Late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase after 22:00. Salary increases based on performance with a clear progression system. Bonus system available.
