Job Description:

This is an operating theatre (オペ室 opeshitsu) cleaning position at a university hospital in Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, accessible from Ochanomizu Station. Duties cover mopping floors and corridors, wiping down surgical beds and equipment cables, and collecting rubbish — the same cleaning routine repeated across the shift in a clean, controlled environment. A team of around 5 staff work each shift, so there is always someone to ask; new starters shadow a senior colleague until they are ready to handle their own section independently. The shift runs 13:00-22:00 (7.5 hours actual work, 1.5 hours break) in a 5-days-on 2-days-off rotation across a 7-day schedule including weekends and public holidays. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are available. Women in their 40s and 50s make up a large part of the current team; healthcare experience is common among staff but is not required to apply.
