Job Description:
This is an overnight cargo handling position at Haneda Airport's freight area in Ota-ku, Tokyo, accessible from Haneda Airport Terminal 1 and 2 Station on the Tokyo Monorail and Keikyu Airport Line. Duties involve loading X-ray-cleared luggage onto cage trolleys and loading it onto cargo flights — trolley-based movement is the main method, with hand-carrying kept to a minimum, though some items such as drinks cases and golf bags can weigh up to around 20kg. The shift runs 22:00-06:00 (7 hours actual work, 1 hour break) with virtually no overtime (under 5 hours per month); the workplace has spot coolers and free hydration breaks. The first day starts with 3-4 hours of classroom training on airport rules and safety before any floor work begins. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are available.
