Job Description:

This is a hall staff position at Rokkou (鹿港), Japan's only Taiwanese-style nikuman (肉まん) specialty restaurant in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, 3 minutes walk from Kamimachi Station and Setagaya Station on the Tokyu Setagaya Line. The store is a beloved local fixture with very low staff turnover — this is the first recruitment drive in quite some time precisely because staff tend to stay. Main duties cover taking orders, bagging products, cashier work, handing over purchases, and creating delivery notes; as you become comfortable, stock checking and ordering are added to your role. Two shift bands are available — 09:00-13:00 and 13:00-18:00 — and you can work as little as 3 hours a day and 1 day a week, with overlapping shifts and full-day patterns also welcome; the schedule is fixed but flexible for exams, family needs, or extended absences. Wages are paid cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi) once a month. Transportation is fully covered. International students and foreigners are actively welcome. No prior experience is required — a 2-month training period is provided.
