Job Description:
This is a cafe service and retail sales position at a French luxury tea brand popup shop inside Matsuya Ginza department store in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, placed through a staffing agency (派遣 haken). The brand is internationally recognised for its distinctive black tins and offers a premium in-store experience; duties include guiding customers through the product range at the showcase, operating the register, confirming drink orders, preparing and serving teas (measuring tea leaves and adding hot water — a straightforward process), and clearing the eat-in space. No prior knowledge of tea or the brand is required — full product training is provided from scratch; those with prior register experience are especially welcome but beginners are equally accepted. Two shift options are available: 10:00 to 19:00 or 11:00 to 20:00, each with 60 minutes of break and 8 hours of actual work; the schedule is 5 days per week on a shift rotation across any day of the week including weekends and public holidays. Daily pay (日払い hibarai) and weekly pay (週払い shuubarai) are both available. No resume or in-person visit is required — the full application is completed online.
