Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff position at 和洋旬季 川端, a hidden-gem fine dining restaurant in Moriyama City, Shiga, specialising in Japanese-Western seasonal cuisine with a strong focus on fresh fish sourced through the restaurant's own fish wholesale division. The menu changes every month and a half, covering Japanese, Western and creative dishes, along with a curated selection of sake and craft beer -- a genuine opportunity to deepen your knowledge of food and drink simply by working here. Over half of reservations are for full course meals, so the order of serving and timing is fixed and predictable -- the role is calm and structured rather than hectic, making it approachable even for first-time part-timers. Tasks include simple cooking assistance, seating and guiding guests, taking orders, and serving dishes. Shifts run from 18:00 to 23:00 with a late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applied from 22:00, raising the effective rate to up to 1,400 yen per hour for that final hour. Those who can work Fridays and Saturdays are especially welcome, though the schedule is otherwise fully flexible from one day per week, with Sundays off as the regular closed day. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available on request.
