Job Description:

This is a kitchen staff role at a Japanese restaurant (和食 washoku) in Marunouchi, Chidoya Ward, just 5 minutes on foot from Tokyo Station, arranged through LeafNxT Co., Ltd. Duties cover a wide range of Japanese cooking techniques: preparing and breaking down fresh fish (鮮魚 sengyo), frying and grilling dishes, and other kitchen tasks across the full menu; experienced full-time staff and veteran part-time colleagues are on hand to teach you, so beginners can develop real cooking skills in this role. Shifts run from 17:00 to 22:30 every day of the week including public holidays; you choose which days to work from as few as 2 days per week on a rotating schedule. Note that the shift extends past 22:00: a statutory late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies for the 22:00-22:30 portion under Japanese labour law — confirm the exact amount at interview. A daily work allowance of 800 yen per shift is provided in addition to the hourly rate; a staff meal (まかない makanai) is available for 300 yen per shift.
