Job Description:
This is a short-term (2-month) warehouse light-work role at an Amazon fulfilment centre in Ome City, Tokyo, arranged through SBS Staff Co., Ltd. Duties are assigned based on the day's needs and include packing products into boxes or envelopes and applying shipping labels, picking items from shelving using a handheld terminal, sorting delivered goods into destination-specific cage trolleys, and loading trolleys onto outbound trucks; some areas use Amazon Robotics (AR) autonomous shelving units. Tasks are simple and repetitive — no heavy lifting is involved — and air-conditioned work spaces, a break room with fridge and microwave, a canteen (meals from 400 yen), a free drinks server, and an on-site convenience store are all available. Five shift patterns are available: two day shifts (08:00-17:00 or 08:00-19:00) and three overnight shifts (19:00-06:00, 20:00-05:00, or 21:00-06:00); you can work from 3 days per week. Day shift workers must work at least one Saturday or Sunday; overnight shift workers must work at least one Friday or Saturday. The daytime rate is 1,700 yen per hour (05:00-22:00); the deep-night rate is 2,125 yen per hour (22:00-05:00), inclusive of fixed allowances — a 10-hour overnight shift can yield over 21,000 yen in a single day. A daily payment system (日払い hibarai) is available via smartphone — withdraw funds at any ATM or convenience store the same evening, subject to conditions. High school graduate or above required. At least 1 year of work experience in Japan required. Eligible for employment insurance required. No resume or in-person agency visit needed; AI interview available 24 hours a day.
