Job Description:

Work as cargo sorting and loading staff at Haneda Airport (羽田空港) freight area in Ota-ku, Tokyo, accessible from Haneda Airport Terminal 1 and 2 Station on the Tokyo Monorail, handling baggage after X-ray security screening. Duties include loading X-ray-cleared baggage onto cage carts and loading cargo onto freight aircraft. Most movement is done using wheeled carts - hand-carrying is minimal even for heavier items such as drinks cases or golf bags (up to approximately 20 kg). Spot coolers are installed in the work area and water breaks are freely permitted at your own pace. The first day consists of a 3 to 4 hour classroom induction covering airport rules and safety procedures before progressing to hands-on work. No experience is required. Overtime is minimal at under 5 hours per month and shifts end at exactly 06:00 with no extensions. The shift runs 22:00-06:00 (overnight) with 7 hours actual work and a 60-minute break. Working 3 or more days per week is available with monthly shift flexibility. Year-end and New Year breaks are included. This shift runs past 22:00 so applicants must be aged 18 and over under Japanese labour law. The deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00 to 05:00, giving an effective rate of 1,625 yen per hour for those 6 hours; the 05:00-06:00 hour reverts to the base rate of 1,300 yen. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are both available. No resume is required; online registration is accepted.
