Job Description:

Work as convenience store staff at Lawson Keio Presso Inn Shinjuku store in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, 10 minutes walk from JR Shinjuku Station, covering a full range of shift options from early morning through overnight. Duties include cashier and customer service (レジ・接客 reji/sessaku), shelf stocking (品出し shinodashi), product display, in-store cleaning, simple food preparation including MACHI cafe and Machi-no Kitchen items, utility bill payments, parcel delivery, bank ATM support, and ticket sales. Training with thorough support is provided, so complete beginners and first-time job applicants are very welcome. Days and hours can be freely discussed to match your lifestyle. Three shift bands are available: daytime (08:00-17:00), evening (17:00-22:00), and overnight (22:00-08:00). The overnight shift carries a deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) for hours between 22:00 and 05:00, giving an effective rate of 1,600 yen per hour for those hours. The overnight shift is for applicants aged 18 and over only under Japanese labour law. High school students are welcome for daytime and evening shifts. Transport allowance is paid up to 1,000 yen per day. Motorbike and bicycle commuting are permitted.
