Job Description:

This is a hall, kitchen, and dishwashing role at 西本商店, a new restaurant opening in Sendai's Kokubuncho district in November 2026 — you would be joining as opening staff (オープニングスタッフ). Hall duties include guiding guests to seats, taking orders, and clearing tables; kitchen duties include basic food prep, cooking to a manual, plating, and washing dishes. All roles start with simple tasks and build up gradually, so no prior restaurant experience is needed and applicants with career gaps are welcome. Shifts run in the evening and dinner window (15:00-00:00), and last trains are taken into account when scheduling your end time so you can always get home. The late-night rate (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 1,500円 per hour applies from 22:00 onwards for shifts that extend into that window. Hair colour, piercings, nail art, and beards are all accepted — you can work in your own style. Applicants must be aged 18 or over; high school students cannot be accepted due to late-night operations. Foreign residents are welcome to apply only if they hold JLPT N1 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1), as customer-facing duties require a high level of Japanese.
