Job Description:

This is a short-term convenience store staff position at Seven-Eleven Kyoto Karasuma Takatsuji, located 5 minutes walk from Shijo Station on the Kyoto City Subway Karasuma Line in Kyoto's Shimogyo Ward. Duties include shelf restocking and display, customer service and sales, cashier, store cleaning, ticket sales, and parcel delivery reception — experienced convenience store staff can apply their existing skills from day one without an extended training period. Six shift slots are available across the full 24-hour day: early morning (06:00-09:00) at a higher rate, daytime and evening slots (09:00-17:00, 17:00-22:00), and overnight slots (22:00-05:00, 00:00-05:00) at the deep-night rate of 1,420 yen per hour. This is specifically a short-term recruitment drive — ideal for those wanting to try convenience store work, those looking to fill a gap between jobs, or those wanting a second job on specific days. Bicycle and motorbike commuting are permitted, and the store is within 5 minutes of Shijo Station. Must be aged 18 or over for the overnight slots (22:00-05:00) under Japanese labour law.

Wage:

1,130円 (per hour) Early morning premium: 1,180 yen/hour for the 06:00-09:00 slot. Late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 1,420 yen/hour for the 22:00-05:00 and 00:00-05:00 slots. Salary increase available (昇給 shoukyuu).
