Job Description:
Convenience store work at a FamilyMart on Hanamikoji Street in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto. Duties cover general store tasks including the register, ordering stock, arranging displays and cleaning. The store sits in a major tourist area of Kyoto, so there are many chances to serve overseas visitors and practise English. Foreign staff are already working here, and the job is a chance to learn Japanese, local culture and hospitality. Shifts of only 2 to 3 hours a day can be discussed, and time slots are negotiable. Day and evening staff are being recruited, and applicants able to work night shifts are especially welcome. The same hourly rate applies during training (研修 kenshuu), and a uniform (制服 seifuku) is lent to you. Applicants must hold JLPT N3 or above.
Wage:
1,122円 (per hour)
Hourly rate of 1,403円 for the 22:00-05:00 late-night slot, including the statutory late-night premium (深夜割増). Pay raise system available.
