Job Description:
Prepare approximately 180 meals and snacks daily for children at a licensed nursery school (認可保育園 ninkai hoikuen) in Kyoto's Minami district, covering the full cooking cycle from prep to plating. The facility also provides evening childcare, requiring approximately 18 dinner servings per night. Duties include ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, nutritional calculation, menu planning, and supply ordering — a comprehensive role for qualified cooking professionals. This is a maternity cover (産休代替 sankyu-daitai) position with a Monday-to-Friday schedule and optional Saturday attendance by arrangement. Two shift patterns are available (08:00–16:45 or 10:45–19:30) on a rotating basis. Career gap returners are warmly welcomed with full on-site support from day one.
